About this dish

We eat hummus every week in this house.

This recipe is perfect for summer days, gatherings, focal of the table worthy.

I like to get creative with the toppings, depending on what's seasonal and local. Let your imagination run wild! The drizzle on my hummus is a homemade za'atar blend with olive oil, check out that recipe here

HaRVEST HUMMUS

Servings: 6-10

Ingredients
  • 3 cups cooked chickpeas

  • ⅓ cup tahini

  • 1-2 garlic pods

  • ½ - 1 lemon juiced

  • 6 tbsp olive oil + more if desired

  • 1 tbsp cumin powder

  • ½ tbsp tsp salt

  • ¾ tbsp smoked paprika


  • garnish with seasonal market vegetables, my za'atar seasoning & a drizzle of olive oil


Recipe
  • Add all ingredients into a food processor, or high speed blender

  • blend until creamy smooth, adding tbsps of water to thin, if necessary & to your linking
